Why does WTF have a ballot for tickets?

After our 2019 festival sold out in under a second, we wanted to make buying a ticket more accessible. A ballot means that you can sign up in your own time, even if you’re at work, have your hands full with children, or for whatever reason can’t be there at a specific time. Ticket buying won’t be a typing race anymore!
How can I get involved with the Women's Trad Festival community?

Search for "Women's Trad Festival Community" on Facebook and join our Facebook group to meet other climbers and keep the community going, or follow us on Instagram and tag your posts #womenstrad to get featured.
I'm not a woman - can I come to the festival?

Yes! We are an inclusive festival, so all genders are welcome to buy tickets. If you are specifically if you are wondering why we have male leaders and volunteers at the festival (we get asked this a lot) you can read our blog post about it here.
Where can I see your film "Over The Edge""

"Over the Edge" premiered at Kendal Mountain Festival on the 20th November 2020. It is now available to watch online for free (yippie) - simply head over to the 'Over the Edge' tab of the menu.
